ILBANK ATASEHIR TOWER
The Ilbank Atasehir Tower, designed by Öncüoğlu Architecture + ACP, rises incrementally from the ground with its transparent facade that incorporates terraced volumes.
Ilbank’s Istanbul office building was designed on an area of 4.260 square meters next to its regional directorate building. The area of each floor of the 24-storey building is 428 m². Even though the pre-defined zoning conditions and needs played an important role in the design, the form of the building was determined by considering the orientation, floor space efficiency, surrounding structures and its effect on the silhouette.
The southern facade of the building is more opaque, while the northern facade offers more transparent surfaces. In the building, designed to receive fresh air directly from the exterior, an effort was made to meet the need for open space with floor gardens. System solutions that are easy to maintain and operate with flexible planning were preferred.
