SHARE SOFIA AND SHARE BUCHAREST

Share Sofia and Share Bucharest events took place with generous contributions of architectural practices, architecture schools and the building sector.

On 6 October Share Sofia took place in a hybrid format of physical and digital meeting with more than 20 speakers. The whole-day event was divided into four sessions: Advanced Architecture and Urban Development; Future of Functional, Sustainable and Affordable Facades; Transformative Shifts in Homes and Office Design; The Future of Urban Living. UNStudio from the Netherlands, Witherford Watson Mann Architects from the United Kingdom, Werner Sobek from Germany and were among the architectural practices that shared their vision on the future of the profession. On 15 October Share Bucharest took off again with a hybrid format and hosted 30 speakers. The whole-day event ended with a special open lecture by Peter Cook, co-founder of the utopian group Archigram. Alişan Çırakoğlu from Turkey, Marc Jay of We Architecture from Denmark and Lina Gometh from France were among the architects who presented their works and ideas. Şişecam Flat Glass participated as the main partner in both Share events and Şeyma Elçin, architectural glass project supervisor of Şişecam Flat Glass, presented the company’s working methods for choosing the right glass product, and informed the audience about glass facade solutions that are compatible with Şişecam’s sustainable development goals.
