SHARE NICOSIA AND SHARE ATHENS

Share Nicosia and Share Athens events took place in the form of a virtual forum on 9 and 10 December with participations of local and international architects.

On 9th December Share Nicosia took place as a virtual forum where Şişecam was one of their main partners. Peter Murray (Chairman London Festival of Architecture, Curator-in-Chief of New London Architecture and the London Society – UK), Jan Gehl (Founder, Gehl Architects – Denmark), Farshad Mehdizadeh (Co-founder, FMZD – Iran) and Ervin Taci (CEO, DEA Studio – Albania) were among the speakers of the virtual forum. Ksenofon Tirovol, Key Account Executive of Şişecam Flat Glass, made a presentation focusing on biophilic architecture and glass consultancy. On 10th December Share Athens took off with the participation of Herman Hertzberger (Founder, AHH – Netherlands), Frédérique Monjanel (CEO, Ateliers Jean Nouvel – France), Alexis Şanal (Co-founder, Şanal Architecture & Eastern Europe Director of AIA Continental Europe), Alireza Taghaboni (Founder, NextOffice - Iran) and Leonidas Papalampropoulos, (Founder Leonidas Papalampropoulos Architecture Bureau – Greece) among other local and international architects. Şeyma Elçin, Architectural Glass Project Supervisor of Şişecam Flat Glass, presented the importance of glass at nearly zero energy buildings.
